I, just like many of you reading this, did not know the truth about white tigers. I thought they were a "Royal Bengal Tiger", an Endangered Species", a rare and special breed of tiger. Upon learning the truth in 2004 I was devastated. It took me quite a while to grasp the truth, to believe I had been so deceived about white tigers and to understand just how this widespread 'lie' came to into being and just how it fooled, ever so completely fooled the public (including me).

Many people, just like I once believed, the white tiger was a magical wonder of nature, a rare and precious "Royal Bengal tiger". BUT.... Do you know that there really is no such species as a Royal White Bengal Tiger?
